OPERATIONAL
  1. Radars are currently in baseline mode.
  2. Scans are being changed for the Deep Convection and Short Convection IOP at SGP.
  3. A new air conditioner has been ordered.
  4. The air conditioner has failed. Site ops is working to replace it. This does not stop the radar from operatiing, but if it gets too hot and there is 0% chance of rain then it will be put into VPT mode to keep the motors from overheating.

TESTING
  1. Mentor and vendor visited the site this week.
    1. Servo and PDU powers were sometimes reported incorrectly. Input signal level was modified and the issue was eliminated.
    2. Radar would stick when moving from PPI to RHI scans. Vendor was able to fix the problem by modifying the algorithm for antenna movement.
    3. Vendor made improvements to antenna operation by adding a couple of missing parameters related to the RCP8
  2. Radar is currently operating in the baseline scan strategy.
